1970年代に優れた残効性を持つ殺虫成分「ペルメトリン」が開発され、大手化学メーカー等により木材害虫防除の特許が出願・登録されました。
しかし、出願以前に同様の論文が発表されていたことから、弊社は安全で高品質な薬剤を適正価格で皆さまにお届けしたいという想いのもと特許無効審判を請求し、1995年に無効審決を獲得いたしました。
In the 1970s, "Permethrin"—a pyrethroid with outstanding stability—was developed, and major chemical companies applied for and registered a patent for its use in controlling wood-boring pests.
However, because a thesis on the same concept had been published prior to their application, our company filed an appeal for the nullification of the patent—driven by our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality chemicals to everyone at a fair price—and successfully secured the decision of nullification in 1995.
